ABOUT MY PRACTICE

A Life of Balance

I’ve been a Yoga practitioner since fall 2011 in search for something to balance other styles of vigorous workouts. Over the years, I began to see the benefits of the practice first hand and developed a passion to teach and share the benefits of yoga to as many people as I can reach.  In January, 2018, I graduated with my 200 hour Viveka Yoga Teacher Training certification in Seattle.  The foundation of my practice combines the physical with an inner emotional and spiritual journey. By integrating body, breath, movement, and meditative awareness, I strive to promote an understanding of the interdependency of all these aspects in personal health and wellbeing.  I've studied and practiced different styles of yoga such as, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Bikram, Hot Fusion, Yin, and Power Yoga. Currently, I'm teaching a weekly Hot Fusion class at Yogabliss in Mercer Island, WA.  I offer privates for those who are interested in starting a yoga practice or for those looking to advance their practice by incorporating more deep meditation, inversions, and arm balances into their flow. I am so excited and ready to take you on this journey to get deeper in your practice! Let's stoke the fire and flow!

HOT HATHA FUSION

Hot Hatha Fusion is a full-body practice that balances strength & power, with focus & calm. We combine Hatha yoga and the steady stillness between poses, with the energizing flow of Vinyasa, where the breath guides movement between poses. This practice incorporates standing poses, back strengthening, core work, and deep stretching, offering an embodied experience that helps you feel more powerful and grounded. (Downward Dog & Plank may be included.) Plenty of alignment instruction is offered for beginners with appropriate challenges given for more experienced practitioners. Come get your sweat on! Heated to 100° - 105°.
